Phoenix Gray is seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Foreman to join a reputable fitout company based in York, Yorkshire. This exciting opportunity involves overseeing a domestic or commercial project, ensuring smooth progress, quality standards, and adherence to health and safety regulations. As the appointed site manager or working foreman, you will be responsible for coordinating trades, managing onsite teams, and liaising with clients and stakeholders to deliver the project on time and within budget. The role requires a proactive approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to the dynamic environment typical of internal fitout projects, with some external works involved. The position is expected to commence on 2nd September 2026, with a minimum duration of 12 weeks, offering a stable and rewarding assignment with potential for future opportunities.
- Valid CSCS card
- First Aid certification
- SMSTS qualification
- Asbestos Awareness certification
- Proven experience as a site manager or Working Foreman, ideally within fitout or internal refurbishment projects
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication abilities to liaise effectively with teams and clients
- Ability to manage project timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards
